Caught flumpool live for the second time earlier tonight at Clarke Quay at Music Matters Live 2013. They were great as usual.
I didn’t hang around for SID though, as the crowds, heat and cigarette smoke were all getting to me. We actually waited for quite a while, but the soundcheck took forever, and I decided I wanted to go home.
Currently debating whether to get tickets to Stereophonics’ July gig. I haven’t kept up with their music actually, so I haven’t really listened to their new album. But I was just listening to a couple of their newer singles, and they seem to be missing something. I don’t think their sound has changed much, just that they used to have better melodies.
Anyway, I was just thinking I could have made it to the Mayday gig after all. As things turned out, I couldn’t get on a flight on 15 June (the concert date) so I am flying back a day early. So yeah, I totally could have attended the concert for sure. Nonetheless… like I mentioned in a previous post, I think it is still for the better since I have not kept up with their new releases either. In fact, I haven’t kept up with new music releases in general for quite a while now.
